5683: Steph's shocked when Greg returns

Although they reached a compromise on their differing views about marriage, it’s not long before the glue between Bridget and Declan comes unstuck.

Declan heads off to get some space, while Bridget heads back to the bridal store to take the dress off lay-by. She’s persuaded into trying it on one last time, just to placate her friends. Thanks to some quick intervention from Donna, Declan arrives in time to witness Bridget dressed as a beautiful, but reluctant, bride.

Unwilling to throw everything away over this one issue, Bridget comes up with an unusual compromise: a contract of commitment, witnessed by the entire store.
