Bridget admits to Declan that it is difficult for her to sit by and watch her parents fight and fears that Steve isn't coping. When Miranda asks Declan if he thinks she drove Steve away, Declan feels that he isn't the best person for Miranda to be speaking to. However, if there's one thing he's learnt from being with Bridget, it's that you should always listen.
Later, Miranda visits Steve at the veterinary clinic and tries to talk things through. Apologising, Miranda insists that she never thought there was anything going on between he and Rebecca, and apologises for ever hurting him. It soon appears, though, that Declan's advice has worked as Steve softens towards his wife.
Following their kiss at the school play, Zeke is keen to pursue a relationship with Sunny, however, Sunny isn't as enthusiastic and appears to be embarrassed by Zeke's attempts at public displays of affection. Unsure of how to approach the situation, Zeke turns to Karl for advice. Later, when Sunny is on the phone to her parents, Zeke suggests that Sunny tell them about their new romance, but Sunny isn't so sure it's something she wants to tell them over the phone, instead stating that she'd prefer to tell them face-to-face.
Sophie finds a pair of fairy wings her mum made her when she was younger. Despite Kate's protests that she's too old to wear them now, Sophie enlists Dan's help to put them on. Later, after being teased by Callum and Ben, Sophie retorts that their mums are going to die. Dan and Libby sit down with Kate to discuss Sophie's outburst and it becomes clear to both Dan and Libby that the Ramsay kids might need some counselling. Later, Dan presents Sophie with a diary for her to write down her thoughts and feelings.
Later at Lassiter's, Rebecca finds Sophie sitting up a tree and comments that she likes her wings. When Sophie drops her diary, Rebecca hands it back to her and notices some of Sophie's drawings - in particular one of a woman, a man and a car. When Rebecca asks her about the drawing, Sophie says that it's a car accident and the woman is her mum. It soon becomes apparent to Rebecca that Sophie may have witnessed what happened to Jill.
