5726: Steph and Lucas have a moment

With Lucas heavily involved in the poker game with Johnno and his mates, Steph tries to make an excuse for them to leave, but Johnno believes they have time for another game and orders Lucas to resume his place. When Lucas wins, he suggests another game much to Steph's dismay. Lucas wins again and although he says he doesn't want to play on, he's dealt in and begrudgingly continues. However, when Elle tries to call him, Steph instructs him to take the call while she takes over his hand.

Elle is less than pleased with Lucas's disappearing act at the Parkers' earlier when he left her holding the baby. She promises to inform Lucas about every insignificant little detail of her time with baby India as punishment, before hanging up.

Lucas spots a chance to excuse himself and Steph from the poker game and knocks over a stack of tyres, creating a diversion as he and Steph escape hand-in-hand. Locking Johnno and his mates in the garage, Lucas and Steph flee to a nearby building where they hide out. As Johnno and his mates search for Steph and Lucas, they hold their breath when someone attempts to open the door to the room they're hiding in.

Steph and Lucas share a moment before Steph breaks things off, suggesting that Lucas should check if the coast is clear. With Johnno and his mates gone, Steph and Lucas return to the garage to find the place trashed. Steph urges Lucas to go to the police but he refuses and worries about what he's going to tell Elle.

Later, Lucas returns home but Elle refuses to let him inside until he apologises for abandoning her at the Parkers'. Lucas concocts a story about what kept him for longer than he thought and apologises but Elle wants an apology with meaning. However, opening the door, Elle is surprised to find Lucas has gone and instead Steve is standing there.

Lucas arrives at Steph's and asks to use her shower. Later, Steph talks to Lucas about his gambling debts and problems with Johnno, but Lucas is adamant he can handle things. Steph then broaches the subject of the moment she and Lucas shared. However, Lucas insists that they're just friends.

Sunny and Zeke share a tense exchange at Harold's Store, something Donna and Bridget pick up on. Sunny admits that Zeke said he loves her but she didn't say it back. Donna comes up with a suggestion of Sunny expressing her feelings for Zeke on some balloons, but when Zeke and Charlie enter Harold's, Sunny accidentally pops one of the balloons before rushing out embarrassed.

At the gym, Donna suggests a cheerleading chant for Sunny to use to woe Zeke, but Sunny admits that she's not sure she's in love with him as she's never felt love before. Donna and Bridget tell Sunny about their experiences with love and suggest Sunny at least talk to Zeke.

Later, Zeke visits Sunny and she admits that she's never felt this way about a boy before. She then presents Zeke with a traditional paper doll she and her grandmother made. Sunny tells him that in Korea you give it to someone very special and she wants to give the doll she made to him. Zeke tells Sunny he loves her and they share a kiss.
