5735: Steve tries to find help
Without a single soul around, Steve sets off up the abandoned country road in a desperate bid to find help for his family. Managing to stumble across a letterbox, Steve's spirits are lifted until he finds the burnt out ruins of an old house. Hearing a revving noise, he sets off again in search of help. Steve comes across a car of youths that speed off without offering any assistance, leaving Steve devastated. Later, Steve flags down a car and the driver stops to help Steve out. Arriving at the crash site, Steve spots Miranda lying on the ground and informs her help is on its way before setting off to locate Bridget.

Kate is trying to organise a budget but is having difficulties with her maths. Declan offers to help as a favour for Kate helping him with the wedding ideas for Paul and Rebecca's wedding. Meanwhile, Harry has purchased a computer game and convinces Sophie that it's time they all enjoyed a bit of fun. Arriving home, Kate is angered to see Harry has made such a big purchase without consulting her. The siblings get into an argument and Harry storms off.

Later, Kate is cleaning the house with Declan's help when Sophie reappears from her room and tells her sister that Harry just wanted them all to have some fun. She makes Kate see some sense and later, Kate can't resist picking up the guitar from the computer game and having a go.

With Dan off rescuing a stranded Karl and Libby, Toadie is left in charge of looking after Susan following her procedure. When Harry arrives, Susan suggests she and Toadie go for a walk and leave Harry to play the keyboard in peace. Later, Declan arrives and he and Harry once again clash. Susan and Toadie walk in and Susan demands the two boys sort through their issues. Susan manages to have a heart-to-heart with Harry and later gives him the keyboard.

Later, Declan admits to Toadie that when India was screaming all he wanted was to be left alone and have some peace, but now she and Bridget are gone and he can't get through to them on the phone - he's missing them like crazy. Meanwhile, Declan later apologises to both Susan and Harry for his behaviour.
