5738: Erinsborough mourns the loss of Bridget

The residents of Ramsay Street are in shock following Bridget's untimely passing, while the Parkers and the Napiers struggle to come to terms with reality.

At the hospital, Karl informs Steve, Miranda and Declan that it was a blood clot that caused Bridget's death and cautiously broaches the topic of organ donation. However, Declan storms out, unable to even begin to contemplate agreeing to donating Bridget's organs.

While the adults of Ramsay Street process the news of Bridget's death, the kids suggest baking the Parkers a cake. But, unable to agree upon a suitable recipe, they agree to a bake-off and it is left to Karl to taste the two cakes to decide which one is more suitable for the Parkers.

Meanwhile, Steve and Miranda find it difficult to return to number 26 in the wake of Bridget's death and Declan, still in a state of shock, is unable to look after baby India. Rebecca returns from her trip overseas and immediately sets about caring for her emotionally shattered son and when Declan breaks down, Rebecca promises that she'll be by his side every step of the way.

Later, when Steve and Miranda announce that they're leaving Erinsborough as they have nothing left in Ramsay Street, Rebecca reminds them they have India. However, the Parkers insist that they're taking India back to Oakey with them. Horrified, Rebecca insists that Declan won't stand for such a thing, but Declan leaves Rebecca stunned when he agrees that India leaving with Steve and Miranda is for the best. Will Rebecca stand by and let the Parkers take India away from Declan forever?
