5745: Declan vows revenge on Steph

Although still furious at Harry and his nasty vendetta against Steph, Toadie agrees not to turn the teenager into the police and escorts him back to Ramsay Street, but makes Harry swear that his feud with Steph ends now. Later, Harry, Kate and Toadie reveal to Steph that Harry was the one who vandalised her driveway. When Kate takes Harry home, Steph admits to Toadie that if it hadn't have been Harry someone else would've done it and says she doesn't deserve Toadie's kindness after what she did to the Parkers.

Meanwhile, Kate is furious at her brother for what he did and worries that his actions may cause the Ramsays to split up. When Harry tries to explain that what Steph did is like what happened to their mother, Kate snaps that she doesn't want to hear it. Later, Toadie brings Harry around to Steph's and Toadie manages to get her to agree to letting Harry do a number of chores for her as a way to make up for his act of vandalism. However, things soon disintegrate between the pair and Harry lands a cruel blow by commenting to Steph's face that baby India will never have a mother and he knows what that feels like. Later, Steph concedes that she doesn't know what it feels like to lose your mother but admits that she will never forgive herself for what happened.

When Karl's overprotective and caring nature becomes annoying, Susan tells him that he needs a new outlet for his fondness for helping others now he's no longer employed at the hospital. She is then struck by an idea - Karl could be the new columnist for the 'Ask Doctor...' column in the Erinsborough News. When Karl and Susan present Paul with the idea, he is less than thrilled at the prospect of working with Karl and the feeling is mutual. However, Karl is unable to hide his excitement at the prospect of becoming a newspaper columnist and sets about thinking up a title for his column.

Meanwhile, Declan is struggling to overcome his anger and hatred towards Steph. Later, while Steph celebrates the Kennedys' good news, Declan becomes resentful of her enjoying herself and remarks to Rebecca and Paul he's going to make Steph pay for what she's done. Just how far will Declan go?
