5769: Steph offers to help Lyn

Lyn is shocked to see that Paul has written a rather salacious article about her and worries that it has ruined any chance she has of setting up a life again in Erinsborough. Meanwhile, Rebecca is concerned that Paul may have been a little too harsh in his article.

Later, Lyn is disheartened when the bank declines her loan application but Steph is insistent that there are other banks and other ways for Lyn to get her money. Steph then puts a call in to Rebecca and scolds her over how she and Paul are treating Lyn.

When Lyn prepares to head back to Shelly Bay, Steph tells her that she's not letting her leave town and hatches a plan for her mother to stay in Erinsborough. What is it and how will Rebecca and Paul react to the surprising turn of events?

Meanwhile, Susan and Karl realise that now Zeke is moving back home, they should tell Sunny's parents about the change in living arrangements. Susan cautiously tries to broach the subject of the intimacy between Zeke and Sunny, but Sunny becomes embarrassed when she realises what Susan wants to discuss and runs off. Mortified, Sunny tells Zeke about what happened and although Zeke insists that he’s more than happy to wait until Sunny is ready, he later confides in Toadie that he's ready to take the next step now.

Later, the Kennedys phone Sunny's parents and use her as a translator. However, Sunny isn't totally honest and translates a completely different message back to her parents.
