Relations between Alex and Susan thaw a little as he opens up about his kids and is impressed by Susan's obvious passion for teaching. Regrettably, Steiger's investigation into Paul flies in the face of all Susan's diplomatic efforts and Alex decides to move his kids to Eden Hill Grammar. Will Susan be able to convince him otherwise with only a week up her sleeve?
Stingray returns to work (as a matter of pride more than anything) but Go-Go doesn't make it easy, smugly setting him an impossible delivery task. Stingray defies her by risking his neck and passing the test. When Go-Go still denies him the shifts he needs, Stingray finally lets Go-Go have it, all guns blazing, and quits.
The family car is repossessed but this doesn't mean the end of the Timmins' money troubles. Horrified to find she still has a $10,000 interest debt, Janelle finally accepts full blame for the credit-card fiasco and resolves to get a second job. Even though the family rallies to help her, Janelle doesn't have much luck. Things look hopeless until Stingray announces he has a foolproof moneymaking plan. What could it be?
