When Joe buys Sky a keg for her party, Harold’s unimpressed – teenagers and alcohol mix badly. Joe claims it’s a tradition for Aussie eighteenths, but promises to watch out for underage drinkers. This doesn’t satisfy Harold, who remains at odds with Joe until Joe sincerely thanks Harold for taking Sky under his wing. The two men reconcile, but Joe’s beer drinking at the party wins him a hangover. Janelle also tricks him into thinking he kissed her, and gives him twenty-four hours to prove himself by telling Lyn.
With Paul gone, Dylan rallies the Timminses behind Stingray’s plan to start up a bike courier company. Despite Janelle’s fantasy of global success, many mundane realities must be overcome before the plan will ever get off the ground. Meanwhile, Serena tries to get the apparently unattainable Connor out of her mind by trying it on with Stingray. Stingray gives her a stern reality check, and Serena realises what a great pal he is - and that she must think again about Connor.
