6408: Rhys seeks Vanessa's forgiveness

Confused by Vanessa's abrupt change of heart, Rhys confronts Lucas, suspecting he warned her off him. When Lucas admits that he did but explains Vanessa didn't heed his advice, Rhys returns to Vanessa and learns that she rejected him because she saw him aggressively confront Susan. Vanessa insists Rhys's behaviour was unacceptable and Rhys chickens out on giving her the explanation of why he was so angry.

Later, when Rhys apologises to Susan, she makes it clear she knows she's only getting one because he's invested in Vanessa. Assessing his growing feelings for her, Rhys decides not to give up, opening up a little to Vanessa in the hope of winning her over.

Meanwhile, struggling to buoy Chris in the wake of his break-up, Tash resolves to secure a third housemate. However, when she fails with her fellow neighbours, Tash is forced to turn to Summer. Privately doubting she could live with Tash on a permanent basis, guilty Summer uses Karl as an excuse and declines the offer.

Fed up with continual disappointment, Chris irrationally gives Tash a serve before admitting that he's struggling to deal with the mistakes he made with Aidan. Needing stability, Chris decides to move back home. Tash tries to soldier on alone, but she's completely thrown when a phone call from Michael reveals their house has been sold. What will Tash do now?
