With some encouragement from friends, the pair find common ground - Sonya will have a home birth, and a doula will look after them both. However, when Sonya finds the perfect helper - a wonderful person who just happens to be a very attractive man - Toadie is struggling again…
Meanwhile, Ajay's hopes for a fresh start for himself and his family as they move into Ramsay Street are tested when he discovers that Paul Robinson's fence intrudes on his own land by half a metre. When Paul compounds the problem by being typically rude, Ajay decides to fight back. But Paul has never been one to let a good feud go by!
Elsewhere, Kyle's bad cold awakens Jade's sympathy. Her concern for him wrestles with her wounded pride, but some advice from Sonya encourages her to reach out to him. However, whatever she does, the reminders of Kyle and Kate's betrayal are never very far away.
