Paul considers calling off his lawsuit, but he later sees Chris appearing to be moving on while Sophie is left to deal with a painful rehabilitation. An angry Paul recommits to the lawsuit, determined to see Chris punished.
Elsewhere, dealing with Sophie's recovery makes Kate re-evaluate her priorities and acknowledge how disinterested she is in her job at Charlie's. Inspired by Aidan's pride in doing a job that makes a difference, Kate tells Priya that she wants to return to her teaching career.
