6481: Kyle receives an unexpected visitor

Keen to make a difference in someone's life, Kyle is stoked when Sonya and Toadie officially invite him to become godfather to their daughter. Soon afterwards, Kyle is thrown when his cousin Harley turns up on the street - in a cop car. Learning that Harley has been caught acting out, Kyle reprimands his cousin and is confronted to learn that this isn't the first time he's been in trouble with the law.

Seeing shades of his younger self, Kyle knows Harley won't stop until someone steps up to straighten him out. Realising this is a taste of the responsibility he'll experience as a godparent, Kyle takes Harley in temporarily. But when stubborn Harley warns Kyle that he can't make him do anything, Kyle fears what might be in store for him…

Meanwhile, investing in fatherhood to avoid his heartbreak over Vanessa, Lucas studies his baby books. However, Lou dismisses learning through theory and challenges Lucas to care for a life-like baby-training doll. Lucas struggles to cope with the crying toy and when he is momentarily distracted, he accidentally leaves it at Harold's.

Lucas panics when he realises what he's done, but finds Lou has already located the doll - and has an uncanny ability to calm it. Conceding that he'll need Lou's help when he becomes a single parent, Lucas re-considers having Lou as godfather. Chuffed Lou accepts, but keeps Lucas in the dark about simply knowing where the off-switch was on the doll!
