6496: Priya and Paul almost kiss

Priya is upset after she reads a negative article about her involvement in the VET debacle, and is disappointed when Ajay doesn't give her the support she needs. However, she is further frustrated when Paul goes in to bat for her, speaking on her behalf. Priya assures Paul that she can handle herself, but when Paul reads this as flirting and reciprocates, Priya seizes the chance to express her awkwardness at receiving champagne from him.

Realising that she has inadvertently revealed her secret feelings to Paul, Priya organises a dinner with Ajay to shake thoughts of him for good. However, when a busy Ajay is forced to cancel and she sees Paul struggling, Priya offers to bag him up some leftovers.

While doing this, Priya relaxes in Paul's company and almost lets him kiss her. Thrown that she came so close to temptation, Priya makes a decision to keep her distance from Paul from now on.

Meanwhile, with Jade away, Kyle is unsure of how he'll handle Harley on his own, but is relieved when he is seemingly in control. However, his bubble is burst when he learns of Harley's defiance at school. Kyle fixes the problem for now, but fears it's not the end of it. Catching up with an excited Jade on Skype, Kyle keeps his struggles to himself, not wanting to worry her.
