Christie Hayes to leave 'Home and Away'
Home and Away star Christie Hayes is the latest cast member to leave the series.

According to TV Week, Hayes recently filmed her final scenes with the soap and will bow out later this year, leaving on-screen love interest Miles (Josh Quong Tart) devastated.

The 22-year-old actress, who plays Summer Bay local Kirsty Phillips, returned to the show in May last year following a three-year absence. Hayes originally appeared in the series from 2000 to 2005.

News of her departure follows the announcement in May that Jess Tovey had quit her role as Belle Taylor.
