'Home and Away' plans UK shoot return

Home and Away bosses have reportedly revealed that they are considering a return to the UK.

Director Cameron Welsh wrote on the Australian soap's website that he would love to shoot on British soil again.

"I was fortunate enough to be involved in the last shoot and I know everyone who went along had a great time," he said, adding: "We'd be open to shooting anywhere in the world if the storylines permitted."

The Summer Bay cast, who celebrated the show's 21st anniversary earlier this year, have decamped to the UK before, including a stint in Shropshire in the 1990s.
