The 24-year-old actor, who plays Aden Jefferies in Home and Away, has apparently been taping auditions for Hollywood films and television shows over the past two months.
Lasance told The Daily Telegraph: "Failure is not an option. I'm willing to put in 20 years over there if I have to because this is what I want to do.''
The award-winning star films his final scenes for the Australian soap on January 15.
