The 18-year-old actress confirmed that she feels fortunate to have filmed so many romantic scenes during her stint on the show, which has seen Nicole linked to Aden Jefferies (Todd Lasance), Liam Murphy (Axle Whitehead) and Sid Walker (Robert Mammone) among others.
Discussing Nicole's behaviour in an interview with The Daily Telegraph, James explained: "I think she's the best character. I get to have so much fun being a princess and a prima donna. She doesn't mind pushing the boundaries. She's very high maintenance, which is fun to play."
She continued: "I seem to have a different boyfriend every week. I get to pash Axle, Todd and Robert. In fact I don't think there is anyone I haven't kissed yet. I've really hit the jackpot. I told Robert, before I kissed him, that he is actually two years younger than my dad. He loved that."
James also told the newspaper that she does not feel nervous about being asked to wear bikinis on the programme. She asked: "What's the point in worrying about whether my bum looks big or if I look fat? You just have to get on with it."
Home and Away's leading producer Cameron Welsh recently said that romantic storylines would be a key focus for the soap this year.
