Anderson: 'Home and Away is my focus'

Home and Away star Esther Anderson has insisted that she is happy to be single because it allows her to focus on her soap commitments.

The actress, who plays Summer Bay's Charlie Buckton, explained that she is keen to concentrate on her career after being in the running for this year's Gold Logie prize.

Speaking to TV Week, Anderson commented: "There's no love in my life at the moment. Love of Home and Away is all there is!

"I'm loving my job, I'm happy and I'm in a good place. It's a really good time for me to be able to focus on my career and Home and Away solely, because I got the nomination and I want to do a good job, I want to live up to this!

"I'm amazed and excited that this is all happening in my career at the moment, and it's really nice to be concentrating on me."

Anderson split from former Home and Away colleague Conrad Coleby (Roman Harris) in January.
