Luke Mitchell: 'On-screen kissing is weird'

Home and Away's Luke Mitchell has revealed that he sometimes finds on-screen kisses awkward.

The actor, who plays Summer Bay resident Romeo Smith, told the soap's Australian website that he often feels uncomfortable when kissing love interest Indi Walker, played by Samara Weaving.

Mitchell explained: "The first time you kiss anyone in real life is a bit weird because it's two kissing styles coming together - there's a compatibility thing there.

"There's that awkwardness of reality. And there's the screen awkwardness of 'this is my co-worker', and there's 17 people watching you."

He added: "We're both in relationships off-screen, so there's that as well."

Mitchell is currently dating Home and Away co-star Rebecca Breeds, who plays Ruby Buckton.
