Xavier Samuel's brother joins 'Home and Away'

Benedict, who has previously been seen in Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo and will star in teen drama Slide, will play bad boy Hammer in the soap, part of a gang rivalling the resident River Boys.
Benedict, 23, told the Herald Sun: "I come in to uphold his honour and stir up the Bay. I'm hired muscle, which is kind of ironic since I'm the skinniest person you've ever met. There's a lot of pursed lips and steely looks."
The star graduated from the National institute of Dramatic Art last year. In 2008, he moved to Sydney to be closer to Xavier, who landed his breakout role as Riley in Twilight sequel Eclipse a year later.
In June, Xavier was confirmed to appear in surfing drama Drift alongside fellow Australian star Sam Worthington. He has also signed on to play the lead role in Aussie comedy A Few Best Men.
