Home and Away's Bianca Scott will be rushed to hospital with concerns for her unborn child in an upcoming episode.
The Summer Bay blonde, played by Lisa Gormley, needs emergency medical attention when she experiences bleeding in scenes soon to air in Australia.
Bad boy Heath Braxton later arrives at the hospital to support the mother of his child, while Bianca's sister April is also present.
Dan Ewing, who plays Heath, told TV Week: "Heath finds out through a text message and comes running in. I think there is that fear they may lose the baby.
"Bianca's flipping out and Heath could lose his chance to be a dad. Despite all the stuff with Liam that's gone on, Heath really does want to be a father and is fearing for the baby's safety."
In the aftermath of the scare, local doctor Sid Walker explains that Bianca needs rest and less stress. Heath then shows a more mature side by agreeing to keep his distance for a while.
Ewing added: "He thinks, 'I'll take a step back because I want you and the baby to be safe'.
"He's really made the decision that he wants to be part of his kid's life. He never got the opportunity with Darcy when she was younger and he really wants that with this kid."
Home and Away airs these scenes next week on Network Seven in Australia and mid-June on Channel 5 in the UK. Get the Inside Soap magazine on your iPhone or iPad
