Adam Sharpe, Brax's former mentor, is about to arrive in Summer Bay on Australian screens. While Brax is pleased to see Adam, Ewing's character Heath doesn't give him so much of a warm welcome.
Ewing told TV Week: "Heath went to jail when he was younger and he blames Adam for that. Adam's a bad egg, but he's charming and has lots of money, so he's not the clichéd nasty guy."
With Heath's on-off partner Bianca (Lisa Gormley) distraught following the death of their baby son Rocco, Adam (Martin Lynes) agrees to help her when she begs for drugs to ease her pain.
Heath warns him to stay away from Bianca when he finds out what is going on, but Adam declares that he will only do so if the bad boy carries out a job for him.
Ewing continued: "Adam basically gets to the point where he's sick of Heath having a go at him and says, 'If you come and work for me and do a job, I'll stop hanging out with her'.
"Adam's definitely showing his more sinister side. He's one of the worst guys the Braxtons have encountered, because he's got brains and he doesn't like anyone who stands in his path."
Home and Away airs these scenes next week on Network Seven in Australia, and in January on Channel 5 in the UK.
