Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou has revealed details of how her character's stalker ordeal escalates in upcoming episodes.

Viewers in Australia have recently seen Leah Patterson-Baker left startled by the strange behaviour of Summer Bay newcomer Jamie Sharpe (Hugo Johnstone-Burt) after they went on a date together.

While UK fans have yet to meet the creepy character, next week's Australian episodes see Jamie's antics get worse as he continues breaking into Leah's house after being rejected by her.

Nicodemou told TV Week: "Leah is asleep on the couch when Jamie breaks in and takes a photo of her sleeping. He then texts it to her the next day so she knows he has been in the house. That is the last straw - she is feeling very unsafe.

"[The police] come over and tell her there is nothing they can do. They make her feel she's paranoid, since she's previously invited Jamie into her home and into her bed."

With little help available for Leah, her son VJ tries to confront Jamie but finds himself out of his depth.

Nicodemou added: "Leah realises VJ isn't in the house and goes into a panic and looks for him. She sees Jamie on the beach with VJ and he's manhandling him. It's a terrifying moment for her."

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 in the UK, and weekdays at 7pm on Network Seven in Australia. Get the Inside Soap magazine on your iPhone or iPad
