The arrival of the Braxton brothers seems to have gone down well with Home and Away fans!
"They have been a wonderful, wonderful addition. I've been told that they're really working in the UK, and at home people are really thriving on them too. They're a great addition to the show."
Are you all glad to have Ray Meagher (Alf) back on set following his time in London performing in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert?
"Everyone's very happy - it's like the grandfather has come back! It's wonderful having Ray back and I think as soon as he got off the plane, he was straight into the studio and he had ten scenes a day for three weeks running. But his storyline has calmed down a little bit now. I'm really glad to see him back and I've been told that Priscilla was a wonderful success in the UK."
"Yeah, absolutely. Tessa started out on the show about six months or a year before I started, and we've become really good buddies. She's a great actress and a really, really lovely person. She wanted to go on and try new things, and she's been in LA auditioning for stuff. I wish her all the best because she's such a great girl. Luke is a good friend of mine as well. He's hosting The X Factor in Australia and he's been employed on many different shows throughout his career. I wish him all the best too - he'll do really well."
Apart from the drugs storyline, can you name any other highlights from your time at Home and Away?
"I'd have to say last year's cliffhanger - getting Bianca, putting her on the back of a Harley and riding off into the sunset. That was wonderful - it's always been my dream to be on a TV show and ride a Harley with a hot chick on the back! That was pretty cool. I also think that, the more acting I do, the more I improve and the more I can get out of the storylines. The more confident I get, the more I can get out of the scripts, so I'm always looking forward to seeing what's next."
What would be your dream storyline for Liam?
"Well, I suppose what Liam wants to do is get his music together, get back on the road to tour the world and maybe take Bianca with him. Also, his ex-wife is in Paris with his 4-year-old son Ash, so it'd be great for him to get his family back."
Do you get much input into Liam's storylines?
"I've spoken to Cam, the producer of the show, about storylines and throwing things Liam's way. I haven't spoken to the writers too much, but I'd like to do that soon, to find out what's coming up. Also, on set, we do have the freedom with directors to change dialogue and make it more suitable for our characters, or to chop bits out or add bits in. But I do know quite a bit about where the storylines are going and it gets nice and juicy in the future!"
Finally, can you give us any other teasers on future events in Summer Bay?
"The River Boys create a lot of havoc! I'm really loving the storyline with Brax and Charlie at the moment, and where that leads. That goes to a very, very interesting place and there's a big cliffhanger involving those guys. But that's probably all I can tell you, otherwise I'll get in trouble!"
