4857: Roman regains his sight

Arriving home from school for lunch Nicole is horrified to find Roman and Gardy drunk in the middle of the day. Fed up with her father’s behaviour and Gardy's constant presence in her home, Nicole walks out after Roman refuses to agree not to drink anymore.

Later at school, a concerned Nicole confides in Miles about Roman's problems and enlists his help. When Miles stops by to talk with Roman, he's met by a hostile Gardy who refuses to let him in, insisting that Roman is sleeping before slamming the door in Miles’s face.

Arriving home, Nicole is surprised to find Roman asleep on the sofa. Left alone with Gardy, she tries to stay cool, but following another sleazy come on is unable to take any more and she quickly flees.

Ruby suggests that Nicole spend the night at her house and in the morning she'll go with Nicole to tell Roman about Gardy's behaviour. However, the following morning when the girls call around to tell Roman all about Gardy, Nicole is ecstatic to find that her father has regained his sight. But when Roman credits Gardy with his miracle recovery, will Nicole be able to tell Roman about Gardy’s inappropriate advances towards her?

Trey continues to be horrible to Nicole and even taunts her in class, causing her to run out of the room in tears. Turning to Ruby, Xavier and Jai for support, Nicole is surprised when Jai reveals he thinks he knows what Trey's problem is. What is Trey's secret and once armed with her newfound knowledge will Nicole be able to salvage her relationship with him?

After earlier pushing Liam away and telling him to go to rehab, Belle becomes concerned when her numerous calls to him go unanswered. As time passes, Belle becomes more and more concerned that Liam may have relapsed or worse.

Later, frantic at the thought of Liam doing something stupid, Belle arrives at the rocker’s hotel room only to find him alive and well. While Liam apologises for putting pressure on Belle about a possible relationship, he’s surprised when she suggests they meet at the surf club later that evening. Discussing their feelings over a drink, Belle agrees to start a relationship with Liam but only if they can take things slowly. While Liam is delighted at the recent turn of events is Belle being truthful to herself and her heart?
