4858: Angelo threatens Hugo's livelihood
Angelo and Charlie receive confirmation from forensics and a marine biologist that the severed hand discovered washed ashore a few weeks earlier was bitten off by a tiger shark. Remembering that it was a tiger shark that also attacked Hugo, Angelo decides to pay the local diver a visit with some further questions, but his queries are met with a fierce resistance. When Hugo refuses to answer any of his questions, Angelo pulls rank and threatens to impound Hugo's boat for impeding a police investigation.

Returning to his patrol car after his run-in with Hugo, Angelo discovers that someone has slashed all his tyres. Following an earlier encounter with Jai, Angelo is convinced that the teenager is responsible for the attack on his car and drops by the caravan park to question him. Furious at Angelo's accusations, Kirsty demands he get out of her house immediately. Is Jai really responsible for the attack on Angelo's patrol car?

Following Angelo's threats to Hugo and his visit to Jai, Charlie finds herself placed in the middle of the crossfire. When Angelo insists he's just doing his job, Charlie demands he tone down his threats - especially against Hugo. Angelo accuses Charlie of being way too cosy with Hugo and demands to know whose side she is on - his or everyone else's?

Kirsty, Geoff and Annie pay Irene a visit in prison and are taken aback by her pale and drawn appearance. Despite her trying to put on a brave face for her visitors, Irene isn't convincing anyone about her current state.

Struggling to adapt to prison life, Irene soon finds herself the talk of the cells for "offing" her boyfriend and is nicknamed a "pig shooter" by the other inmates for shooting a police officer.

After being offered anything she wants by a fellow prisoner, Irene retires to her cell where the taunts from the other inmates continue. Alone, isolated and broken, Irene looks for solace in her sleep, but it doesn't come easily. When her head finally hits the pillow, she discovers that someone has placed a bottle of gin under it. Hiding the bottle of alcohol out of sight under a pile of magazines given to her by Annie, Irene tries her best to ignore it. Will she be able to resist?
