4866: Gardy's actions put Nicole in danger

Having earlier approached Roman with the ominous warning that the time had come, Gardy takes the kind-hearted chef to a warehouse and informs him that he owes people money and wants Roman's help in a robbery. Refusing to have anything to do with his absurd plans, Roman is horrified when Gardy blackmails him - help with the robbery or he'll go to the authorities about what happened in Afghanistan.

Later, when Gardy turns up at the Diner, Leah blasts him over the way he's come between Roman and Nicole. Unrelenting, Leah also has a go at Roman over his treatment of Nicole. Determined to prove his worth, Roman begins to pull his weight at the Diner but Leah still holds grave concerns for him.

Claudia, having discovered she's pregnant with Geoff's child, struggles to come to terms with the fact that she'll soon be a mother. When Geoff breaks the surprising news to Annie, Miles and Kirsty, Annie launches into a verbal attack against her brother, claiming that he's betrayed her and gone against everything he believes in. Kirsty tries to talk Annie around and make her see that this can be a positive and not a negative but Geoff's surprised when Claudia turns up with another bombshell - she's been kicked out of home.

Roman, fearful of Gardy and what he might do, suggests to Nicole that she should spend the next few days with Ruby for her own safety. However, Nicole is unaware of her father's good intentions and is hurt by his apparent attempt to drive her away.

Later, Nicole decides to spend an intimate night with Trey. As the young couple begin to get closer there's a sudden disturbance and Nicole panics, thinking it's Roman. Deciding to investigate, Trey is shocked to find his mother tied up on the floor as a masked and armed Gardy looms over her. Trapped in Trey's room, Nicole hides for her own safety, fearing for her life as Gardy's evil plans begin to become clearer.
