4868: Aden wants to reunite with Belle

With Irene in prison, Belle is struggling to cope with the numerous responsibilities she currently has to deal with. Turning to Aden for strength, Belle is grateful when he visits Irene in prison with her. Later, he admits to Rachel that the attraction between him and Belle is still there and he wants to get back with her. Rachel advises Aden that it's probably best at this point for the two of them to remain friends. Aden tells Belle that if he's distracting her he can back off, but Belle insists now more than ever she needs his friendship.

Angelo bumps into Tony while out on a jog and is surprised when he invites him to do some weights training at the gym. Spotting the pair talking, Alf is shocked by the apparently friendly exchange. Confronting Tony over his conversation with Angelo, Alf is taken aback when Tony snaps that he's just trying to move on like everyone has been insisting he should.

Alf tells Martha and Rachel about what happened between Tony and Angelo and a furious Martha criticises her former father-in-law for his friendly acceptance of his son's killer. She then turns her attention to Angelo, who points out that if Tony is offering forgiveness he's certainly not going to turn it down.

Xavier, growing increasingly frustrated and concerned at Hugo's vanishing act, presses Martha for details about when he will be returning. When Martha snaps at him, Xavier fears that something serious has gone down between the pair and that if there's no solution soon, he may have to leave Summer Bay. Concerned about Xavier's fears, Ruby speaks with Martha about Hugo and soon comes to the conclusion that Martha has serious feelings for him.
