4876: Tony holds Angelo's life in his hands

Following Martha's attack on Tony after learning that he'd agreed to take Angelo fishing, a concerned Rachel pays Hugo a visit and asks him to call on Martha to make sure she's okay. Uncomfortable with Rachel's request but too polite to refuse, Hugo reluctantly agrees and visits Martha at the farm house. Arriving to find Martha struggling with the fuse box, Hugo offers to help and won't take no for an answer. Later, Martha reveals to Hugo that she just wants to be left alone, today of all days. When Hugo queries why, Martha replies that it's Jack's birthday. Hugo suddenly begins to realise that Martha's concerns over Tony and Angelo's fishing trip are warranted.

Later back at home, Hugo chats to Alf about Tony and Angelo's fishing trip. When Alf reveals that Tony has taken Angelo to a dangerous fishing spot, which also just happens to be near where Jack is buried, the pair quickly become concerned over Tony's true intentions for Angelo. When Martha arrives, Hugo informs her that he and Alf now share concerns and they set off to find Tony and Angelo before it's too late.

Enjoying his fishing adventure with Tony, Angelo is oblivious to the fact Tony is harbouring some deep resentment towards him. With the conversation soon turning to Jack, an uncomfortable Angelo begins to sense something isn't right. Crippled with dark thoughts towards Angelo, Tony announces that he needs a break. When Angelo questions him as to why, Tony suggests Angelo come with him, there's something he needs to show the young policeman. Unaware of Tony's dark intentions, Angelo blindly follows Tony along the rocky cliff top.

While chatting as they stroll along the beach, Miles and Charlie bump into May who excitedly shares details about her date with Angelo. When Miles introduces the bubbly school teacher to Charlie, May is surprised to see that Charlie is in fact a female. Later, May approaches Charlie in the Diner and asks for her help in organising a surprise date for Angelo. Although clearly uncomfortable, Charlie obliges and answers any questions May has.

At the hospital, Rachel begins to feel unwell and later collapses into Miles' arms. Although managing to regain her composure, Rachel becomes concerned when she realises she's bleeding. As she's rushed to a hospital bed for tests to be carried out, Rachel asks Miles to call Tony but he is unable to get hold of the expectant father. With her concerns for her unborn baby growing, Rachel is also left to worry about Tony's whereabouts.

Having taken Angelo to Jack's grave, Tony reminds him that today is Jack's 28th birthday before claiming that it's unfair that Angelo's here and Jack isn't. Realising things aren't as okay between them as they seemed, Angelo chooses to leave Tony alone with his thoughts for a moment. Infuriated, Tony demands Angelo stay and pay his respects to Jack. Refusing, Angelo says that he's already paid his respects before walking away. Overcome with rage, Tony chases after Angelo and launches himself at him. As the two men wrestle on the cliff top, Tony manages to overpower Angelo. As Angelo pleads for Tony to stop, Tony glares into Angelo's eyes and quickly realises he holds the police officer's life in his hands.
