Scott and Kane realise

The election for School Captain is tomorrow. Seb is so confident Jade will win he gets her to practice an impromptu acceptance speech. They are interrupted when Rhys and Dani arrive with the news Kirsty has lost the baby. Jade nearly reveals it’s all a lie but stops herself in time. Jade realises Kirsty has staged the miscarriage to get herself off the hook. Seb thinks Jade should be happy because she no longer has to pretend Kirsty is pregnant. Jade is angry because now there are two lies she has to cover for.
Jesse is thrilled Sally is offering to go partners in the Gym but Leah is nervous about mixing business with friendship. When Leah expresses sympathy for Kirsty Seb begins to understand Jade’s fears about being complicit in the lie. Beth explains Kirsty’s loss to Max and the twins, they are sympathetic but worried they will lose their rooms if Kirsty comes home. Rhys is upset about Kirsty and blameful of Kane. Beth tries to calm Rhys’s mounting fury. A slip from Max alerts Beth that Jade is covering for Kirsty. Jade finally reveals the lies. A shocked Beth insists Rhys is told but for the moment Jade gets her not to. Kane reveals to Jesse he has sent flowers to Kirsty and now he’s leaving town. Rhys is ready to gun for Kane but Beth is worried he’ll end up charged with assault.
On the Blaxland Scott and Kane twig the diver (Campbell) is lying and they have a murderer aboard. Campbell senses they are onto him. Kane and Scott make a grab for Campbell but he’s awake to them and holds Alf hostage with a spear gun. Alf manages to distract Campbell long enough for Kane to save the day and Alf’s life. Kane learns Kirsty has lost the baby and Beth warns him to avoid Rhys. Kane is devastated. Scott and Dani are besieged by reporters asking how Scott overcame the murderer Campbell. Scott refuses them outright when they question his connection with the accused murderer Dani and if knowing her helped him catch Campbell. Alf revels in the celebrity of being a criminal catcher. Scott’s complains about the reporters but Alf explains their money worries are over, they’re now celebrities and the boat’s been booked for six months on the strength of it. Kane is arrested for violating the AVO.
Sally tells Jesse she is thinking seriously about making THEIR baby part-owner in the gym as a way of linking the couples and providing for the child. She hasn’t told Flynn yet.
