4898: May leaves Summer Bay

Following her break-up with Angelo, a devastated May begins to put the pieces together and realises that Angelo and Charlie were seeing each other before Angelo ended things with her. After accepting a new position at a school in the city, May says her goodbyes to Angelo and Summer Bay before letting slip to Charlie and Angelo's colleagues that they're now an item.

Charlie tells Angelo that she needs a little more time before she can enter into a relationship with him. However, after copping a tongue lashing from May in which she claimed that Charlie doesn't have the guts to go public with her relationship with Angelo, Charlie decides that her romance with Angelo is the real deal and later tries to tell Martha about her new relationship.

While Miles excitedly goes about town telling anyone who will listen about his and Kirsty's baby plans, Kirsty admits to Leah that she's having doubts. Leah urges her to tell Miles, but Kirsty is unsure.

Having noticed Martha and Hugo's behaviour around one another, Alf begins to suspect their relationship is more than just friendship. Later, Angelo questions Hugo about the missing Indonesian man and Hugo says that he knows nothing about it. Unconvinced, Angelo trails Hugo one night and questions him over his movements the next morning. When Hugo insists he was home in bed, Angelo acquires a search warrant for Hugo's boat under the belief that he's partaking in illegal abalone fishing. However, when Angelo carries out his search warrant, he's surprised to find Hugo and Martha together.
