4900: Trey plants a bomb

Martha is upset at Colleen's reaction to the news she and Hugo are now dating. Despite Alf trying to talk things through with Colleen, she insists that she is worried for Martha's reputation after moving on with another man so soon after Jack's death - and with his cousin no less. Following Alf's advice, Martha tries to talk things through with Colleen again but to no success. Deciding that they need a break, Martha and Hugo go and visit Gina in the city.

Miles, Bartlett and Palmer begin the search for Annie and Jai, hoping to find them before nightfall. Unable to locate the teens, the men return to the campsite. However, Miles isn't giving up so easily and, against Bartlett's wishes, heads back out into the bush to continue the search. However, when darkness falls, Miles is left little choice but to abandon his search until the morning.

The next day, the search resumes for Annie and Jai, while Bartlett suggests all the other students should return to Summer Bay. With his wounds getting worse, Jai's health begins to deteriorate as he and Annie try and make their way back to the campsite. When Jai collapses again, Annie is relieved when Bartlett and Miles come to their rescue.

As the teenagers are loaded back on the bus in preparation to head back to the Bay, all anyone can talk about is when Trey tried to make a move on Nicole the previous day. Once everyone is aboard the bus, Trey stands in front of the vehicle and announces that he's wired it to explode.
