4915: Belle's time begins to run out

Angelo continues his surveillance of Hugo, believing he is the one behind the illegal abalone operation. When Squirt arrives with a refrigerated van, Gibbsy wants to know what he's doing and demands Squirt remove the van from the parking lot before Angelo sees them. He doesn't want Aden or the cops to find out about the illegal abalone operation. Hugo tells Angelo he's not the one behind the abalone plot but Angelo isn't so convinced.

At the Diner, Squirt tells Gibbsy that he thinks the police are onto them. Later, Hugo talks to Aden about the night fishing Squirt told him about and begins to suspect that Gibbsy and Squirt are behind the abalone operation.

Aden asks Nicole to spend the day with Belle as he's worried about her. Nicole and Belle head to the Diner and Irene and Leah fuss over her. Later, Belle and Nicole go for a walk along the beach and Nicole is worried Belle is exhausting herself. Belle insists she's fine and says she doesn't want to be fussed over or pitied. As they go for a swim, Belle tells Nicole that she is a true friend. When Irene tells Aden Belle has gone swimming with Nicole, he's surprised and happy that Belle appears to be feeling stronger.

However, back home, an exhausted Belle arrives with Nicole. Nicole is worried and insists she should call Aden, but Belle begs her not to for fear as he's only going to worry. As Nicole holds Belle in her arms, Belle makes Nicole promise her that she's going to look after Aden once she's gone. When Nicole insists they stop talking about this as they've got plenty of time, Belle tells Nicole that they haven't - she can feel that she hasn't got much time left.

Aden arrives home and is worried about Belle. Nicole tells Belle that she needs to talk to Aden and tell him what she's feeling. Belle asks Nicole to call Irene and tell her everything that's going on. Belle asks her to get Irene to gather everyone together and come over tomorrow.

Kirsty confides in Leah about Miles kicking her study buddies out, while Miles talks to Alf about his concerns regarding Kirsty and her studies. Alf advises Miles that he needs to lay off Kirsty a little and Miles takes his advice on board. Later, Miles tells Kirsty that he understands her going to university was also about making new friends and sharing new experiences and says that should she ever want to have a house party to just give him some prior warning so he can arrange for everyone to clear out so Kirsty and her friends can have some space.
