4943: Charlie is named prime suspect
As Angelo and the other officers establish a crime scene around the area where Grant's body was discovered, Charlie arrives and is stunned to learn that the man she's wanted dead for so long is now gone. Angelo and Charlie discuss who could have killed Grant and both deny they had any involvement, although neither has a solid alibi.

Later, Charlie breaks the news to Ruby that Grant is dead and is less than impressed that both Geoff and Xavier know about Charlie kidnapping Grant and holding him captive. When Irene asks what's happened, Charlie leaves it up to Ruby to explain while she returns to the police station. Chatting to Angelo, Charlie is surprised when he tells her that she should come forward about kidnapping Grant before it comes out during the investigation into his death. Elsewhere, Ruby feels guilty about Grant's death - if she hadn't tracked him down he wouldn't have come to the Bay and his family would still have him in their lives.

Meanwhile, Robert Robertson - a detective from the city - arrives in town to head up the investigation into Grant's murder. With Grant so closely linked to Angelo, Ruby and Charlie - and the fact that all three hated him with a passion - Robert focuses his investigation on the trio and their whereabouts. Robert interviews Angelo and Charlie about their whereabouts at the time Grant was murdered, while later asking Ruby to partake in a strange exercise to determine whether she's involved.

Later, Robert tells Angelo that he won't be stood down from his duties while the investigation is carried out. However, he asks for Charlie to hand in her badge until the investigation is over as she is now the prime suspect in the case.

Elsewhere, Aden helps Geoff study for his boating exam but it doesn't take him long to realise Geoff's feelings for Ruby may extend beyond just friendship.
