4946: Hugo receives an ominous threat

Brendan is excited to have his girlfriend Ruby in town, but it becomes apparent that there's something he's not telling everyone. With Ruby's encouragement, it soon emerges that Brendan wants to move in to a share house with his girlfriend, but Hugo, Martha and Xavier worry that it's not a good idea.

The next day, Hugo tells the others that he'll break the news to Gina when she returns home from her holidays, which shouldn't be for a couple more weeks. However, things soon change when Gina arrives home early and declares that her holiday was a disaster. She isn't impressed with the idea of Brendan moving in with Ruby. Will Gina relent and let her son be with the girl he loves?

Meanwhile, Ruby Buckton is facing a big day as Grant's funeral approaches. While still with Xavier, Ruby's attraction to Geoff continues to grow as problems emerge between her and Xavier. Aden, sensing that Geoff likes Ruby as more than a friend, urges him to pursue her but Geoff isn't so sure.

Later, after an awkward run-in in the bathroom, Geoff walks in on Xavier and Ruby kissing. Is there more to Geoff and Ruby's feelings than friendship?

Meanwhile, Hugo and Xavier are shocked to find a note left on the doorstep that reads "sink it and die Austin". Just who is responsible for the ominous warning?
