5426: Marilyn makes a worrying prediction

Marilyn, Roo and Colleen all organise a special ladies day for Irene, who is still recovering from cancer. When Irene notices that Marilyn has brought her Tarot cards with her, she asks her to give her a reading.

Though Marilyn tries to put a positive spin on what the cards say, it becomes clear that the cards predict that someone they know will die. Concerned about her cancer returning, Irene is convinced that it's her.

Meanwhile, April is asked to the Formal by Jonathan, a fellow student at Summer Bay High. Ruby brings up April's plan to lose her virginity at the Formal, and convinces her that her first time should be with someone she cares about. April thinks this over and cancels her date with Jonathan. To Ruby's surprise, however, April asks Xavier to the Formal instead.

Elsewhere, Liam learns that his bike is a complete write-off after the accident. Bianca offers to lend him some money in order to buy a new vehicle, on the condition that it's a car and not a motorcycle. After Heath gives him a hard time about having a family car, Liam starts to have an identity crisis. He decides that he is not ready to be the family guy, and wants to stick with his rock'n'roll persona. Liam ultimately buys another motorbike, which makes Bianca angry.
