Xavier and Ruby can no longer keep their secret to themselves and separately confide in Jai and Annie about their decision to sleep together. Ruby admits to Annie that she feels the time is right and that they're ready to take that next step. With Annie avoiding him, Jai confronts her over the issue. Annie tells Jai she doesn't want to be like Ruby and Xavier. Realising Annie is referring to Ruby and Xavier's decision to sleep together, Jai assures her that he's happy to wait and give Annie as much time as she needs.
Annie discovers Irene has bought her a necklace as a way of apologising. Although it won't heal what happened between them, Annie can see this is a way of Irene trying to reach out to her and show that she really cares. Approaching Irene, Annie tells her that she's wanted to broach the subject with Irene but wasn't sure how. The two talk through their problems and it appears as though their issues are sorted.
Furious at having discovered Nicole and Trey in bed together, Kirsty throws Trey out of the house and grounds Nicole. An embarrassed Nicole tells Kirsty that since Roman's departure, Trey is the only thing keeping her going. While sympathising with Nicole, Kirsty insists that she doesn't think Trey is right for Nicole. Despite Nicole insisting she and Trey only slept in the same bed, Kirsty says that she overheard Trey in the Diner telling people otherwise.
Later, Nicole sneaks Trey back into her room and, while Nicole records her voice over for Jai's short film, Trey says that he has other ideas as to what they can do with their time. It isn't long before the couple's kiss soon leads to something more and every second is being captured on the video camera.
