
Later, John Palmer asks Principal Bartlett if Trey can apologise to Nicole in front of the whole school. Bartlett says he doesn't have a problem with it, but they need to speak to Nicole first. Surprisingly, Nicole agrees, saying that she wants Trey to be as humiliated as she is. Later, when Trey again goes to visit Nicole to apologise, he overhears her telling Ruby and Jai that he's sick in the head.
Meanwhile, Colleen is still upset over what happened at the film festival. As the proud organiser of the festival, Colleen fears that her name will forever be linked with the scandal that has sent shockwaves through the Bay.
Enjoying a dinner at the Diner, Charlie and Angelo's relaxing meal is disrupted when they're joined by May and Ruby. When Ruby reveals what happened at the film festival, Charlie decides to leave Angelo and May to it. The next day, May tells Charlie she knows all about what happened and, thinking May's talking about Jack's death, Charlie puts her foot in it when she spills the beans. Attacking Charlie over what she told May and accusing her of stabbing him in the back, Angelo reveals that he's just found out he's being stationed in Summer Bay permanently. Later, Charlie spots May and Angelo in each other's arms and realises that instead of breaking them up, she's pushed them closer together.
With her jealousy growing over Geoff and Nicole's friendship, Claudia visits Lachie after he asks to see her. When Lachie suggests they get back together, Claudia refuses before telling him that she's pregnant. Lachie is convinced that he is the father of Claudia's unborn child and an argument ensues. Later, Lachie turns up at Irene's in the hope of speaking with Claudia but Geoff tells him that she's out and demands he stay away. However, Geoff is left reeling when Lachie tells him that he knows Claudia's pregnant and he believes he's the father.
