Hyde is going out on a date with Irene but Kim doesn’t trust his motives for one second. He tells Irene that his father doesn’t do anything for nothing. Irene is miffed: it is possible she’s still attractive to a man! But Kim’s not happy. When Hyde comes for the date, Kim accuses him of not keeping his side of the bargain. But Hyde has the number of Brooke. He hands it over. When Kim calls, Brooke doesn’t want to speak to him. She hangs up on him.

Felix is still harassing Dani with phone calls. She buys a whistle so she can scream it down the phone at Felix. Hyde’s date with Irene is awkward and great at the same time. It looks like there might be more in the future.

Duncan is going back to Summer Bay High. But things are not going well for him. The other kids don’t trust him or like him after what he’s done. He’s spending more time away from school. Kim in particular is trying to make Duncan pay for his sins. Alf and Morag unite to deal with Duncan, and experience some success.

Hayley has her heart set on finishing her degree. She’s going to fight to get reinstated. Noah is reticent to encourage her, but he can see she’s got her heart set on it. Dani and Hayley approach the Dean but he tells them the students need to abide by the rules. He hopes Dani is not compromising her principles to help a friend? The Dean’s hands are tied. Hayley is disappointed.

Jesse is convinced that Leah and Flynn have slept together. Sally decides not to leave the school after Fisher advises her to give Hyde another chance. Jesse meets with Sally and informs her that Flynn did not deny having an affair with Leah when he confronted him about it. He didn’t confirm it either, but Sally is beginning to share some of Jesse’s fears.

When Dani goes to confront Felix at uni she finds out that someone has allegedly bashed him. But his harassment hasn’t stopped. Someone is watching her and she can feel it. As Dani makes her way through the car park later on that night, she is sure someone is following her. Suddenly the person is on top of her and she attacks him with all her might. It’s the Dean of the university!
