4955: Rachel reaches breaking point

After nearly suffocating her son, Rachel is able to revive Harry and he's rushed to hospital where he's placed in intensive care as he fights for his life. Rachel confides in Leah that she feels like she's a bad mother and Harry would be better off without her, but Leah tries to reassure her that all will be okay and she's a good mum but she’s just going through a rough patch.

Later, Leah tells Tony that she believes Rachel could be suffering from postnatal depression. At the hospital, Rachel is questioned by Julie about her feelings and thoughts and Rachel brushes Julie's concerns aside, insisting that she's not depressed. Later, Rachel breaks down and admits that she's not coping and something is wrong.

Nicole and Liam's close bond continues to flourish as Aden, Geoff and Colleen begin to grow concerned about Nicole's closeness to the troubled rock star. Geoff warns Liam to stay away from Nicole, but the attraction between the pair is too strong. After Nicole admits to having a brief fling with Aden, she tells Liam she's looking for love. As disapproval for their relationship mounts it only pushes the couple closer and closer together.

After putting the idea of marriage to Kirsty, Miles opens up to Alf over a spot of fishing and shares his inner most thoughts and feelings on the subject. Miles admits that its clear Kirsty isn't keen on the idea of marrying him; however, Kirsty is mulling things over with Irene. After hearing a heart-warming story about marriage from a customer at the Diner, Kirsty changes her mind about marrying Miles. Admitting to Miles that she would like to marry him after all, Miles surprises Kirsty by telling her he too has had a change of heart and now doesn't want to get married.
