I've just heard on the grapevine that today's missing Doctors episode will now air on Monday afternoon as a double bill alongside Monday's original instalment.

Due to the BBC's extended election coverage this afternoon, schedulers decided to can today's ep of the daytime medical drama and reschedule.

If all goes to plan with Monday's news coverage, Doctors will go to air at its usual time of 1.45pm with its episode titled 'No Rest For The Wicked', which should have been screened today.

That episode will be immediately followed by the next instalment, 'Chicken Boy'.

It is thought that the episode which was axed from BBC One's terrestrial lineup today will air at 6.30pm on BBC HD.
