'Doctors': Elaine under pressure - Spoiler Pictures

Doctors revisits Elaine's troubles in next week's episodes as she realises that she is heading for a breakdown.

Still struggling in the aftermath of the Harrison case, Elaine is becoming increasingly dependent on sleeping pills. Her behaviour starts to cause concern when she is found sleeping in her car outside The Mill when she should be working.

Elaine (Janet Dibley) tries to make an excuse and assures her colleagues that it's no big deal, but she continues to seem distracted and later has a near-miss on the road while driving.

Badly shaken, Elaine makes an emergency appointment to see her therapist Oliver, knowing that she is barely holding it together.

When she sees Oliver, Elaine confesses that she has been self-prescribing pills. However, when a shocked Oliver warns her of the dangers, Elaine immediately tries to play down the matter. Will she take a step to recovery or remain on a slippery slope?

Also next week, Cherry (Sophie Abelson) is outraged when she discovers that Jimmi has decided to sell their house to Daniel. Will she respect Daniel's wishes by keeping this a secret from Zara for the time being?
