Back at The Mill, Melody explains to George that she doesn’t trust Kirsten and she never thought Archie would go out with such an activist. George suddenly remembers where she has seen Kirsten before. She takes Melody back to her office and looks up some of the anti-drugs trial literature that she gathered when she first opposed the drugs trials at The Mill. She finds a picture of Kirsten and Melody fears that this explains why Kirsten is so keen on Archie.
Melody wants to warn Archie immediately and catches him as he’s about to leave for the weekend. She shows him the picture, claiming that it can’t be a coincidence that Kirsten came into his life. Archie’s reaction surprises her. He knew she’d been jealous of Kirsten from the outset – what is she implying now, that Kirsten is only interested in him because of some extremely tenuous connection to some drugs company?
The photo ends up in the bin and Archie storms out but despite his spirited defence of Kirsten, the picture has worried him. Quietly he returns to the bin and takes out the clipping. He stares at it and ponders the implications.

Meanwhile, Craig Carmichael (35) is an accountant with a tormented mind. He appears to have discovered his wife Odette (33) making a pass at a builder (Jack) that they have employed. Odette appears to quickly mask her actions with Jack but Craig is adamant that he saw her flirting. A squabble occurs between Jack and Craig which results in Craig sustaining a hand injury and Jack walking off. Craig briskly gathers Odette and takes her down to the surgery – he wants to get to the bottom of her problem.
Daniel takes control of the couple who are both arguing. Craig’s worries are quickly brought to Daniel’s attention, fearing he may have contracted an STD because of Odette’s meandering ways. She is appalled at the suggestion. Craig remains adamant that he’s right but Daniel diagnoses that Odette may be suffering from thrush and that it doesn’t mean she contracted it sexually.
Daniel sends Craig to get treatment for his hand from Archie whilst Odette waits outside. She notices Heston and alarmingly makes a pass at him in the gentleman’s toilets. Still pondering over his thoughts, Craig reveals to Archie that his wife had a car accident and that he noticed a change in her after she recovered from a coma. He explains that she’s become flirtier with other people and he’s had to step in before it got too far! Her actions with Heston remain unnoticed by Craig and they return home. Odette cleans herself up whilst Craig rushes out to pick up their prescriptions. Back at the surgery, Daniel has been talking with Archie about Odette’s accident and Craig’s worries. They make a startling discovery.
Daniel rushes around to their house and is greeted by Odette; Craig isn’t back yet. He attempts to tell Odette about his findings but Odette startlingly makes a pass at Daniel. Craig returns and witnesses this exchange. Daniel attempts to explain that he thinks that substantial frontal lobe damaged stemming from her accident is creating Odette to act in an unfamiliar fashion. Shockingly, it’s no news to Craig, he always knew that she had changed and reveals to Daniel that he shamefully used Odette’s condition and acted out fantasies.
Daniel later explains the condition to Odette who is completely unaware of any of her actions and is just as shocked in trying to understand it. Daniel explains that it can be treated, at least controlled, but Odette fears that Craig will want to leave her. Craig finally exposes his true feelings to his wife about the vows he shared with the woman he loves, ultimately expressing his devotion for her.
