'Turkish Delight'

Jimmi and Daniel are the picture of domestic bliss, and Daniel arrives at The Campus in a great mood. He annoys Michelle when she is moaning about Ruth by playing devil’s advocate.

Michelle gets little understanding from Julia either, so she ropes Zara into a night out and they end up at a club where a drunken Michelle picks up a bloke who is the spitting image of Adam.

They end up in an alleyway outside but Michelle soon gets a flash of what she is doing and pushes the Adam lookalike away. She jumps in a taxi and ends up at Julia’s where Ruth answers the door.

As Michelle rants Ruth tries to calm her down but a neighbour has called the police and Sgt Collins arrives. Michelle tries to push him away and is arrested much to Ruth’s embarrassment. Julia receives a phone call from the local radio station asking if any doctors would like to do a medical phone in show.

The partners think it’s a good idea and Julia and Karen think that Jimmi would be ideal. Daniel feels naturally put out not to be considered, and as they leave The Mill, Jimmi presents Daniel with Rosie.

Meanwhile, Early morning and slobbish PJ Cosgrove (28) is woken by a phone call from his mother Marion Cosgrove (57) saying she’s landed and is on her way back home. He panics as he sees the state of the house, and calls The Mill demanding a doctor for his mother’s prescription.

Simon arrives at the house and is dismayed to be greeted by PJ, who he shared a flat with at uni. Simon is annoyed to have been called out as ‘prescriptions on wheels’ and takes the earliest opportunity to leave.

To PJ’s disgust Marion arrives home with her new found Turkish toyboy fiancé Mehmet Osman (22) in tow. Marion and Mehmet quickly engage in several public displays of affection which riles PJ, and desperate, he goes to The Mill to find Simon. He begs Simon to come over and convince his mother she’s having some sort of breakdown!

Simon reluctantly goes over as he was always her favourite/only of PJ’s friends. To PJ’s annoyance Simon sees nothing wrong with the situation but he can’t escape before Marion insists on him attending dinner. Simon sheepishly turns up that evening and squirms with embarrassment over dinner as he soon becomes piggy in the middle of the awkwardness!

PJ is annoyed when Simon declares he can see nothing wrong with his mother’s relationship, and leaves mother and son to discuss their issues. As he leaves he realises Mehmet is not all he seems, and Mehmet admits he’s actually Michael Osman the son of one of Marion’s friends who she’s brought back to the house to try and get PJ to buck up his ideas. Meanwhile PJ begs Marion not to marry Mehmet and so she and Michael stage a break-up!
