'Tracing The Lines'

Karen is concerned about Michelle and asks Simon to keep an eye on her. She tries to engage with her at lunch but Michelle walks out to have lunch alone. By the end of the day Simon agrees with Karen that Michelle is not her usual self after she shouts at a patient.

Jimmi has his interview at the radio station and Julia insists on going with him. The producer Cerys turns out to be hot and welsh! Jimmi struggles through the interview, nervous and not overly confident. However he impresses Cerys with how sympathetic he is.

Much to his surprise Jimmi gets the job, but as Julia locks him in a hug he looks panicked; does he really want this?

Meanwhile, law Student Anna (19) sees Michelle and reveals she has been having fewer panic attacks, especially since her estranged mother has got into contact. Michelle warns Anna to be careful she doesn’t get hurt, but Anna brushes her off.

Later, Anna’s friend Marisa (19) finds Michelle and tells her she is concerned that Anna’s boyfriend Ethan is pushing her to meet her lawyer mum (who left her as a sleeping child) so that he can benefit as a law student. Michelle decides to visit Anna and apologises for earlier, she just wants to make sure Anna is getting in contact for the right reasons.

As a result, Anna asks Ethan why he wants her to meet her mum, and he admits it has benefits for them both but mainly because it’ll be good for Anna. Furious, she finishes with him, but decides to meet her mum and sends her an email.

At the Icon Anna waits for ages, and Marisa turns up for moral support but Anna sends her away. It becomes clear her mother isn’t coming and when she receives a call from Ethan she breaks down blaming him. Her upset turns into a panic attack as she stumbles into the Campus. Michelle comforts her, she heard about her mum leaving her while she was asleep. Anna is stunned; she has never told anyone that.

Marisa and Ethan arrive and all hell breaks loose as they shout accusations at each other. Michelle manages to make Anna see that Marisa is lying, and realising the game’s up, Marisa admits she has been pretending to be Anna’s mum in the hope of splitting Anna and Ethan up.

Anna is devastated and Michelle criticises Marisa for abusing a friend’s trust. Simon takes over as Marisa threatens to complain about Michelle. Anna decides to leave and forgiving an innocent Ethan, takes him with her. Marisa agrees to drop the complaint.
