Heston reveals to Simon that he doesn't see Lily on Thursdays as they are reserved for some mystery activity that he knows nothing about.
Karen is horrified when Imogen turns up at the Campus with a new lip piercing. She got a mate to do it and it's a bit inflamed so Michelle offers to clean it up. Cherry has to take over when Michelle's behaviour becomes more erratic.
Imogen thinks it must be the time of the month as Michelle took her bag to the loo. Imogen tries to speak to Michelle about Karen preferring Jack but Michelle turns on her and tells her to stop acting like a spoilt brat.
Imogen tidies the supply cupboard and impresses Julia so much she offers her some work experience. Karen thinks Imogen is only behaving well to soften the blow of her exam results leaving Imogen upset that Karen assumes she is going to fail. Karen is upset Julia hasn't asked her first before offering Imogen work experience.
Michelle catches Cherry going through her bag and reacts furiously. Cherry covers that she was looking for tampons. At the end of the day Cherry goes back into the Campus to collect something she forgot and is shocked to see Michelle quickly shoving a bottle she just had a swig from into her bag. She scarpers without saying anything to Michelle.
Meanwhile, Matt Farley (28) is getting ready for a wedding when he gets a call from someone he tells not to call him again. His brother Gavin Farley (32) watches him.
Adrian Miller (28) an old friend of Simon's arrives at the Campus surgery. Adrian tells Simon that his partner Matt has left him and is getting married that day to a woman. He asks Simon to help him stop the wedding. Matt's parents are extremely religious and believe that being gay is something that can be cured. When his father died two months before, his family told him he was responsible for killing him.
As to not upset the family Adrian didn't go with Matt to the funeral but Matt never came home. Matt's family made him undergo spiritual counselling to free himself of the homosexuality, and then Matt contacted Adrian to say he was getting married. Adrian asks Simon to go and talk to Matt before it's too late.
Simon arrives at Matt's house but Gavin tries to stop him. Matt refuses to see Adrian as he is still in recovery, and offers to help Simon save himself from the evils of homosexuality. Simon argues it's not a disease that can be cured. He tells Matt he thinks he owes Adrian an explanation and if he has been 'cured' then there's no risk he would be 'tempted'.
Simon tells Adrian not to get his hopes up. Matt comes to say goodbye, and Adrian can't believe he's giving up everything of his old life. Adrian is devastated Matt has turned on him, especially after he stood by Matt when his family rejected him. Matt leaves and Simon tries to speak to him but he wont listen.
Adrian and Simon go to the church. Gavin punches Adrian and tells him to leave and starts calling him a freak. A tearful Matt begs him to stop as Simon tries to pull Gavin off Adrian. Adrian begs Matt to come home. There is a brief flicker of doubt in Matt's eyes before he tells Adrian to forget him and goes into the church and gets married.
