Zara is disgusted and when Jack attempts to turn on the charm she clips the nail and sends him on his way; never again! After having to deliver a baby on the toilet floor though, Zara needs a pick me-up; Jack.
When she meets him he tries to talk seriously about their 'relationship' but Zara manages to put him off the subject for now as she drives him back to hers. Lily is ignoring Heston, furious with him for picking Stephen over her.
After annoying everyone with her attitude Daniel decides to have a word. He berates her for acting like such a spoilt princess just because she's not Heston's number one priority for once. Lily dismisses his advice; who is he to tell her what to do?
Daniel continues that it's up to her, but if she doesn't change her attitude she may lose Heston forever.
Meanwhile, Heather (30's) has dragged her sullen daughter Sharon (15) to the campus surgery with stomach pains. Sharon locks herself in a toilet cubicle before Zara can even check her out. The girl is clearly in pain and when Zara arrives and sees the liquid on the floor of the cubicle she tells Sharon her waters have broken.
Sharon is in as much shock as Heather and struggles to come to terms with this as her mother loses it. Sharon remains in the cubicle until her boyfriend Frankie (15) arrives.
She runs to his arms and Heather berates them both for being so naïve. She also got pregnant at a young age and wouldn't wish it on her daughter. Zara delivers the baby in the bathroom with Michelle's help. It's a healthy boy but when Michelle hands the baby to Sharon, she'll have nothing to do with it.
Frankie and Sharon go to hospital with the baby but Heather walks away; her daughter clearly doesn't need her anymore. Zara gives her short shrift; of course she needs her, she's only a baby herself no matter how sullen she may be!
At the hospital Sharon declares she is giving the baby up for adoption. Heather doesn't try to dissuade her; selfishly wanting to keep Sharon to herself. Frankie has already bonded with the baby and is devastated. Zara has had enough and tells Heather that she needs to give Sharon some time to make her own mind up for the sake of the baby.
Zara's words strike home and Heather convinces Sharon just to hold the baby. She does and as her and Frankie coo over the baby Heather offers to help them with the basics, i.e. Nappy changing!
