Cherry starts to cry, but reassures an anxious Scott she's just so happy. Scott picks her up again after work and they go for a walk. Cherry is dawdling behind, when she is suddenly attacked by a mugger who throws her to the ground and twists her bag off her shoulder hurting her arm.
Scott immediately runs after the attacker, catches him, rugby tackles him to the ground and takes back Cherry's bag. All the time the attacker (Barry) tries to resist and run away, Scott restrains him and pins him down in a way, which looks reasonable from Cherry's point of view, but close up is a ferocious counter attack.
Finally, Barry gets away. Scott runs over to check Cherry is okay. She's shaken but feels well protected by Scott. She goes to call the police but Scott says they'd better not as he fought back, and he may even find himself being prosecuted. She's got her bag back, that should be the end of it.

Meanwhile, Brian is standing in the local election for the “British Pride” party, supported by his wife Sarah. They're campaigning in Letherbridge, but the racist platform is not going down uniformly well. Brian, accompanied by Sarah, goes to see Simon at the Mill to collect some test results. Simon is shocked to find out who Brian is standing for, but stays professional. However, he has difficulty finding the results, and Brian comes out to reception to find out what's taking so long.
Seeing an audience, Brian gets on his soapbox about immigration ruining the NHS - much to the disgust of the medical staff and other patients. Simon finds the results and ushers Brian and Sarah back into his treatment room, but seeing what the test results say, nips out again to see Daniel to bolster his confidence. Daniel thinks the test results are brilliant - Simon should sell tickets.
Simon asks Brian questions about his family, and finds that Brian was raised in foster homes, and didn't know his parents. Simon explains the tests show Sickle Cell trait, which is mostly harmless, but Sarah will need to be tested if they are trying for kids. "And…' but Brian interrupts. Thanks, but if that's sorted he's a busy man and has to get on. Brian leaves, leaving Simon frustrated he hadn't finished.
Deciding Brian needs to know the whole truth, Simon makes a house call and explains being Sickle Cell means that Brian almost certainly has black African Caribbean ancestry. A furious Brian throws him out but as Simon walks away allows himself a small smile.
Brian wants to sweep it under the carpet, but Sarah is disgusted - she wants him out. She also tells party officials at British Pride. Brian has lost everything.
