'Far From The Tree'
Ocean is still a little prickly but Julia convinces her to try some of her approaches to motherhood. Ocean reluctantly does so, leaving Marlin to self sooth a little, and is amazed at the outcome. Ocean finally relaxes around Julia and Julia is relieved at their progress.

Karen is suspicious that Jack and Rob have a secret after their discussion the night before, and eventually tricks Immie into revealing that Jack is sleeping with someone at Karen's work. Jack is furious at Jimmie and tries to warn Zara all day. Meanwhile Karen stalks the Mill, weighing up who it could be.

Zara gives herself away and Karen loses it, punching her in the face. Zara slaps her back and a cat fight follows.

Finally Heston, Simon, Ruth and Michelle pull the women apart. Heston tells them both to get out, and not to come back!

Meanwhile, Zara arrives at Shelley's (35) house to see her autistic daughter Amanda (12) who is suffering from abdominal pain. Shelley insists it's the start of puberty, despite the fact she hasn't started her periods yet.

Shelley's worried how Amanda will deal with all the changes her body will go through and tells Zara she wants her daughter to have a hysterectomy. Zara is shocked and refuses to refer Amanda to a gynaecologist; shouldn't she have the right to choose if she wants children or not?

Shelley is adamant; Amanda will not be able to deal with children, besides she'll get it done in America if not here. Back at the Mill, Zara asks Heston for a second opinion and he offers to see Shelley and Amanda again with her. During the consultation Heston suggests Shelley is more focused on how bad her puberty was than on what Amanda really needs. Shelley is furious and leaves.

Heston tells Zara to pass the case on to the Gynae unit - let the specialists deal with it – but Zara refuses to pass the buck. After looking at Shelley's file Zara returns to their house, noticing a new for sale sign. She explains to Shelley she now understands how bad her puberty was and why she would want to save her daughter from this. She's also noticed Shelley suffers from migraines, and thinks Amanda could be experiencing abdominal migraines, which can be treated with drugs.

Shelley still insists Amanda needs the hysterectomy, and Zara realises Shelley is selling the house so they can go to America for the operation. Zara tries to get through to Amanda, but doesn't succeed, so leaves distraught at what lies in store for Amanda.
